In Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, the characters share stories to entertain their fellow travellers and while away the time until they reach their destination. In this creative writing and publishing workshop, students will do the same, except that the journey is even more slow-going—because the characters are snails. Students will write stories (or poems!), vividly recounting a past experience of their snails and spinning the soon-to-be-famous yarn of the Canterbury Snails!
